Skincare from hairline to boobline

Whether you have a simple skincare routine or one that involves extra steps like eye creamserumessencemaskretinol and acid, where you apply your skincare is as important as what you apply.  Whenever you’re doing your routine, I urge you to include your neck and décolleté along with your face.

Obviously, the face is a no-brainer for application, however as tech neck becomes more prevalent thanks to the time we spend looking down at our phones, in the words of skincare guru, Caroline Hirons, I urge you to “take it to the tits”.

Our necks often show premature signs of age thanks to gravity, which promotes the horizontal lines that form there.  And while we may conclude our bodies need different care, our chests often get unplanned environment and sun exposure, which means facial skincare in the form of moisturiser, antioxidants and sunscreen is important.

While I am often intrigued by neck creams, so far, I’ve been satisfied with using my regular skincare on my neck and chest and haven’t felt the need to invest in a separate product.  That may not always be the case.  If you’ve been neglecting this area to date, you might want to jump start an update to your routine with one of these options from No 7SkinesisClarins or L’Oreal.

For now, my strategy is to use my micro-current tool daily.  I’ve seen already improvement in the first month and will share more on this soon. When I’m ready to add another product to my routine, I’m likely to use this one from Exuviance or this one from NeoStrata.  These two clinically-proven cosmeceutical brands are developed by dermatologists and available from me directly.

How do you feel about your neck?
